It’s been quite a bit of time since I’ve had the pleasure of sharing a guest mix. The plan was to try to have one a month. What generally happens is I invite my friends, they initially are excited to do one, and then we just seem to forget I ever asked them. This wasn’t the case with Caleb. I invited him to do one, and then a couple weeks later—there it was.

I met Caleb Halter online via Twitter a couple of years back and then recently once we moved to NYC—where he lives. Caleb’s a designer in motion graphics and freelances around town doing styleframes much like I was doing in LA. He helped me out on a pitch for The Mill not too long ago, that we won I should add, and hopefully will be back for future projects.

Caleb’s mix, in his words, “is kind of a barometer of where we’re at across a broad spectrum of genres, and touches on (his) forecast for who to keep an eye on in the months and years ahead.” As a first for us here at my humble music blog, we have an exclusive remix Caleb has made himself for the Jonsi track “Tornado.” Caleb went above and beyond!
